  Half full on a Friday night, when trying to order food we were asked to order in batches and stagger our orders in 30 minute splits. There was a younger bar maid who did help resolve this issue who informed our food would come out as and when it was ready which was not an issue to us given we were 9 people. Food was good but the portions were not big enough considering it was not the cheaper end of the market. Expected better all round.

  My wife and I spent a relaxing lunchtime here while it rained outside. The two items we chose from the menu could not be completed because they were awaiting a food delivery, but what we had was OK. The barmaid was cheerful and friendly. I drank Butty Bach and Landlord, both of which were fine.
